You are not alone.  There are approximately 3 million people living with type 1 diabetes the United States today; about 75,000 reside in the Bay Area.  This year, more than 30,000 additional people will be diagnosed with type 1 diabetes; about half will be children.   

We can help. 
Founded by parents of children living with type 1 diabetes, JDRF is dedicated to finding a cure.  JDRF is driven by people with a personal connection to type 1 diabetes - this translates into an unrelenting commitment to finding a cure and improving the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes.
