Letter from the Walk Chair
Hello Monterey Bay Walkers!
Ok, the letters are out, reminders have been sent, t-shirts have been ordered . . . now what? Did you remember doctors and dentists’ offices, church, school, local stores? Ask friends and family members to send letters to people they know for your team. There is so much more that we can do in these few short weeks.
If you are a little behind and the letters haven’t been mailed or the t-shirts haven’t been ordered, you still have time!! Don’t let this stop you. We are all in this together working for the same goal. Our goals may seem vast – hundreds of thousands for each walk and millions for the entire Bay Area – but with everyone’s help we can do it if we pull together. Every little bit adds up to a lot of money for research to help our children and loved ones.
October is our summer, so please join us along the beautiful beach at Lover’s Point Park in Pacific Grove. Enjoy wonderful food and fun games.
